The most general term. Refers to all foldable paperboard boxes that are flat during transportation and assembled when used. The airplane box is one type.
Drawer Box / Pull-Out Box
Consists of an outer sleeve and an inner box (drawer). Opened by pulling out, offering a strong sense of ceremony. Often used for gift packaging.
Rigid Box / Set-Up Box
Refers to a high-end box made of rigid paperboard that cannot be folded. Composed of a base tray and a full-cover lid
Flip-Top Box / Cigarette Lid Box
Specifically refers to a box where the lid is connected to the body on one side and opens like a door (commonly seen in cigarette boxes).
Tuck-End Box / Tuck-Top Auto-Bottom Box
A folding box with a tuck on the lid and an auto-locking bottom. Easy to open and close, very common.
Paper Tray with Handle / Handle Box with Tray
Refers to a box with a shallow tray base structure and handle holes on top, convenient for display and carrying (e.g., takeaway boxes, gift set boxes).
Box with Handle / Carry Handle Box
A general term for any box with a handle. The handle can be made of paper tape, rope, or plastic.
Paper Bag / Paper Carry Bag
A paper bag with handles. Depending on the handle material, it can also be called a Paper Grocery Bag or Kraft Paper Bag.
